CML CEO Receives "Forty Under 40" Award

On June 12, Manos Sifakis, President and CEO of customedialabs, an interactive media agency, joined an elite group of awardees at the West Chicago City Center Hotel for the Greek America Foundation's inaugural "Forty Under 40" awards reception. Sifakis was recognized as being one of the country's most influential young Greek Americans for his work as the founder and leader of customedialabs, an independent agency with locations in both Philadelphia and Greece.

A distinguished panel of business and community leaders chose Sifakis from over 400 nominees. Candidates were selected based on their professional achievements as well as demonstrated community support.

In addition to being honored at the June ceremony, Sifakis was featured in the July edition of Greek America magazine and was gifted a four-day trip to Costa Navarino, located in southwest Greece.

Based in Chicago, the Greek America Foundation is a nonprofit organization that honors and promotes Greek culture and history in the U.S. The organization launched its "Forty Under 40" awards this year to "identify and honor young leaders of Greek America who are 40 years old and younger, who continuously make an impact on the world around them," as stated on its website, www.greekamerica.org.

Along with Sifakis, other prominent young Greek Americans awarded included Theo Alexander, an actor from the popular HBO series True Blood; Jon Favreau, speechwriter for President Barak Obama, and Constantine Maroulis, American Idol finalist and star of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages.

"I am honored to be recognized as a "Forty Under 40" winner," said Sifakis."As a Greek American, my heritage plays an integral role not only in my personal life but in my work at the agency, where two of our offices are located in Greece. I'm thankful for the recognition and plan to continue to work assiduously to help customedialabs and my local community thrive and evolve."
